FORGIVING

Every one of us has had moments when we experienced the waste of life because someone had intentionally or unintentional caused us to be in that  bad situation. Because of that situation we suffered greatly and even lost valuables, loved ones or were left crippled in some way. You suffered or you are still suffering the pains of the evil occasion. When you look at the cause you simply see that everything could have been avoided had it not been because of someone’s probable negligence. Your heart bit shoots up always when you think about it.

Whole hearted forgiveness is not simple but here are tips to forgive and enjoy life.

Practicing acts of kindness:

Love them

Talk good about them, don’t backbite

Pray for them that hate you

Give that person a big gift if possible

Visit them and start to share good things

Do not entertain thinking about the evil effect of the action that hurt you

Never try to think that the person did it to hurt you

Take it as a mistake, eg you can do that by agreeing or admitting to yourself that the person did it under emotional influence. Or the person did it under influence of alcohol.

You can also be spiritually wise and put the devil behind the bad action done and vindicate the person.

Why should we forgive

We forgive because that is the right thing to do.

If we do not forgive the antagonism will not end.

If we do not forgive whole heartedly our minds continue figuring out how bad, and painful the occasion was and how reckless the person was. By doing that you will be trapped in a kind of revengeful spirit. In many cases it is not possible or easy to revenge as it were in order to comfort a oneself. Revenging is tantamount refusing yourself free joyful self and thereby causing a wound to the spirit.

Spiritual wounds

If someone is not able to wholly forgive she or he will be hounded by own emotions for revenge which yet is bad and may not be possible. A person that thinks he was wronged and is not able to forgive or let go, will no sooner than later start to develop wounds in the spiritual. One type of spiritual wound is aggressiveness. Stressed mind is another wound.

The thing is that failing to let go after the passing of a loved one or after a bad experience or failing to forgive will cause the inner person or spirit to be sick.

How does the spirit get sick? Joy and happiness are the basic food items for a healthy spirit.

Thinking heavily, and negatively is faulty thinking and it draws away energy from the person and when there is no joy and happiness in the person the spirit person starts developing wounds leading to loss of appetite. Sometimes when the spirit experiences excessive wounds it may lose its value for life because of lack of awareness and pain. The result can be a persistent negative mindset. One good example of the consequence of  a mindset living in persistent negativity is self-condemnation suicide.
